BRVT 09 and BRVT 16
There are a lot of reasons for a small light tube coil trailer:
- 80% of all standard tube coils have a winding length of 100m.
- With a pay load of 750 kg and a permissible total weight of 1600 kg the BRVT 09 is to be classified as a passenger car trailer.
- The BRVT 09 is a good opportunity to the larger and more expensive coil transport trailer.
Whether with HDD drilling machines or all in pipe renewal processes, especially on urban working sites, the space is confined. With BRVT 09 /16 the pipe is guided from the top out of the basket parallel to the coil under the axle of the trailer to the rear. There is no bending tension on the pipe coil.

With the solutions shown here, the danger of the pipe coil endings being slammed around is greatly reduced. Since 2018, four accidents with reeled PE-HD pipes have occurred at BG BAU member companies, one of which was fatal. In order to initiate the market penetration of this safety system when uncoiling PE-HD pipe coils from the pipe coil transport trailer, BG BAU has included both systems in its occupational safety premiums.
