The uncoiling cage is a trapezoid construction of special section tube. It is open on the top and has carriage rollers on the bottom on which the tube coil is positioned.
At the front and rear side are adjustable guiding rollers, to be altered depending on the diameter of the coil.
The cage can be unloaded and stored standing upright even with the remaining pipe bundle.
With the solutions shown here, the danger of the pipe coil endings being slammed around is greatly reduced. Since 2018, four accidents with reeled PE-HD pipes have occurred at BG BAU member companies, one of which was fatal. In order to initiate the market penetration of this safety system when uncoiling PE-HD pipe coils from the pipe coil transport trailer, BG BAU has included both systems in its occupational safety premiums.
This adapter is hooked into the uncoiling cage from Bagela. Only the serial number of the uncoiling cage must be transmitted.

Gas or water pipes made of PE up to a diameter of 63 mm are generally delivered in bundles. When the packing strops are removed the coils will expand and find to be muddled up due to their own tension.
Bagela tube coil reels offer:
